If you currently have any Oscar Mayer products such as Bacon Pieces in your refrigerator, I suggest that you check them immediately. I didn't get a chance to pour on some Ken's Salad Dressing. Of course, this rotted meat ruined my entire salad mix that I bought last night along with a fresh tomato, the grated cheese, and the croutons. I will admit that the Walmart Manager was very nice and he did give me a $15 gift card for my troubles involved. I advised the Walmart Manager that I took photos of this rotted meat and I will be forwarding them to Oscar Mayer tomorrow morning for their comments. Keep in mind that these packages are completely sealed (supposedly as they both appeared to be completely sealed) and do not require refrigeration until after you open the package as such. Well there were also two more bags on the shelf with this same type of rotted/molded bacon pieces of which he removed. He and I went back to the shelf to check the remaining bags. I took my receipt and both packages back to Walmart a little bit ago and discussed it with the on-duty manager.
Yes, I definitely will be calling them too. I called the Oscar Mayer toll free number but apparently their employees were all at home eating their own really good salads tonight with possibly some other brand of bacon pieces instead. Needless to say, it ruined my appetite immediately. This entire package had rotten/molded pieces of meat throughout the package. Imagine my surprise when I opened one of these packages and began to dump it onto my salad. I guess that my diet worked because now I have totally lost my appetite. Well, tonight, I got out the salad mix and cut it up into smaller pieces and added the diced tomatoes to go on my salad along with the croutons and cheese etc and was all ready to hopefully eat just a salad tonight for supper. Sometimes, I even put a few pieces on a fresh tomato sandwich as well. I bought two packages of Oscar Mayer Bacon Pieces last night because I normally put these pieces on my salad and it enhances the flavor.
